Structure fire on outskirts of Moccasin Flats
PRINCE GEORGE —Update: A structure fire in Moccasin Flats yesterday afternoon destroyed two tiny homes and another structure. Prince George Fire Rescue responded at approximately 4:30pm.
With the help of firefighters from two halls, it took over two hours to put the blaze out. Crews were able to contain the fire from spreading to any of the other surrounding structures with the city noting that all three structures are classified as unprotected combustible materials.
No one was injured while the cause is under investigation. It was the second fire in Mocassin flats this week.
