PRINCE GEORGE— On May 27, Prince George RCMP Frontline police officers seized approximately 50 grams of suspected meth, 60 grams of suspected fentanyl, four replica firearms, ammunition, $2000 in cash and other drug trafficking paraphernalia after executing a search warrant at a residence on the 300-block of Nicholson Street.

The warrant saw the arrest of three people. One person was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants and was placed in custody until his court date. Afterwards he was put on a release order with conditions.

The other two people were arrested and later released without process as officers wait for further laboratory analysis of the suspected illicit drugs. The charges are subject to approval by the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.

“This represents significant enforcement action taken against those trafficking drugs in our community. It was the second time in May that a search warrant was executed at this residence in relation to suspected criminal behaviour,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
