Ticketmaster reports customers’ credit card information may have been nabbed in a data breach

PRINCE GEORGE—Ticketmaster is investigating a data breach between April 2, 2024 and May 18, 2024 that has taken some customers personal information, including Prince George residents. The online concert ticket sale service says that the information obtained includes “name, basic contact information, and payment card information such as encrypted credit or debit card numbers and expiration dates.”
They add that they are working with U.S. federal law enforcement authorities and that while they discovered that the data had been affected on May 23, 2024, they were delayed in releasing the notice due to the investigation.
Ticketmaster is notifying customers and recommends to monitor your accounts, statements and credit reports for signs of suspicious activity.
