RCMP seek help locating woman in distress
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Mounties are looking for information regarding an event that took place early Saturday morning (July 6).
At 1 a.m. that day, police received two reports of a woman on the Cameron Street Bridge who seemed to be in distress, calling out to passengers. The woman was described as Caucasian, approximately 5’4 to 5’5 with blonde or light brown hair in a bun. There was no other information of the woman available.
When police arrived, the witnesses had lost sight of where she had gone and despite an extensive search, they could not find her.
“We are looking for anyone who may have seen her or possibly have given her a ride away from the bridge that night. Investigators would like to ensure her safety and well-being,” says Media Relations Officer Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
