Wildfire north of Prince George being held

The BC Wildfire Service is noting progress on a blaze that sparked on the south shore of Salmon River, about 30 kilometres north of Prince George.
The.5 hectare wildfire that was discovered burning out of control on Friday (July 19) is being held as of Saturday (July 20) morning.
There are 318 wildfires burning across B.C. as of Saturday afternoon, including 104 that are out of control and 74 that sparked in the last 24 hours.
