Bullet strikes care home on Liard Drive

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP are investigating a night-time shooting that occurred on the 1000-block of Liard Drive.

Cpl. Jennifer Cooper says the shooting occurred on the night of July 15 into July 16 when an employee of the Rainbow Care home told police a bullet had struck one of their windows, though it did not penetrate fully into the residence.

“Thankfully, there were no injuries in this incident and police are currently looking to find who may have shot at the home. If anyone has any information about this event, or has dash camera or video surveillance with information that relates to this investigation, they are encouraged to call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line to speak to a police officer.”
