Farmhouse Catering closing restaurants at YXS
PRINCE GEORGE—The Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) and Farmhouse Catering announce today that the on-site restaurant, Locals by Farmhouse, and their Gourmet Express Café will conclude operations at YXS on November 28, 2024. Farmhouse Catering says that after two years of service at the Prince George Airport they will be refocusing their business direction and return to it’s roots exclusively in catering.
“We are thrilled to return to our roots and concentrate on what we excel at – creating unforgettable, personalized catering experiences for events, businesses, and special occasions,” said Jessie Jamias. “Our time at the airport has been both incredible and a great learning experience, and while we have enjoyed operating the restaurant, this transition allows us to focus on the core of our business – delivering innovative catering solutions that our customers love.”
The PGAA adds that they are actively seeking a new tenant to provide food service at the airport. During this transition PGAA is asking passengers to plan accordingly. They will also be offering complimentary catered service for a limited time in the departures lounge.
“Farmhouse Catering set a new standard for excellence in airport hospitality and will be missed by passengers and staff,” expressed Gordon Duke, CEO and President of the Prince George Airport Authority. “We understand that the availability of food and beverage services is an important part of the overall travel experience, and the PGAA team is actively working to find a new food service provider. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our passengers as we work towards a solution that continues to meet the needs of our airport community.”
