Kiwanis Ale Fest explains that cask ale is brewed from “traditional ingredients that undergo a naturally conditioned process in a cask barrel which allows the ale to have unique flavors and aromas.” Brewers of cask ale don’t filter, pasteurize or interfere with the brew, allowing them to pour fresh live beer straight into the barrel. The beer will remain alive until it’s poured into your glass during the Kiwanis Ale Fest Crawl weekend.

Kiwanis Ale Fest 2025 ends January 25.
