HALIFAX — Nova Scotia’s health minister says three hospital staff were injured in an assault by a patient this afternoon at the Halifax Infirmary emergency department.
Halifax police say they responded to a weapons complaint at the hospital and have one person in custody.
They say there is no threat to the public but are not releasing details of the condition of those injured.
