PRINCE GEORGE — The BC Coroners Service has confirmed that one person was killed while operating a snowplow last weekend on one of our provincial highways.
The single-vehicle crash occurred just before 1 p.m. on Highway 16 East near Purden Lake on Saturday (March 1).
RCMP say the operator of the snowplow was found deceased in a ditch. Because it’s an open investigation, the BC Coroners Service says it is unable to share any further details at this time.
RCMP has not confirmed the person’s identity.
