PRINCE GEORGE— The Northern Capitals are heading to Langley this weekend for the start of their playoffs and the provincial semi-finals against the Fraser Valley Rush.

“The girls have been outstanding for this group. Over the last two years the team collectively won 19 games and this year we got to 16 wins. It’s been amazing progression for not only this team, but for the program as a whole,” said Capitals Head Coach, Hayden-James Berra.

In their final weekend of the regular season, the Caps won two crucial games against the reigning provincial champions, the Thompson-Okanagan Lakers, to clinch third spot in the standings.

“We’re really excited to have earned that third place spot, have a couple bye weekends, and now have a chance to go in to Fraser Valley and hopefully earn our way into the provincial final,” said Berra.

The Capitals kick off their best of three series, on Friday in Langley.
