RCMP seize guns, drugs and cash in Quesnel bust

QUESNEL — R-C-M-P say executing a search warrant for contraband cigarettes resulted in the seizure of illicit drugs, thousands of dollars and weapons.
They say officers found 21 guns and ammunition, plus various amounts of marijuana, psilocybin, cannabis concentrate and cocaine at a residence in the 2000 block of Red Bluff Road in Quesnel.
Police say 1,100 cartons of contraband cigarettes with an estimated street value of around 220,000 were also seized.
But, police say the investigation is ongoing and charges have not yet been laid.
