Fraser Lake ER services suspended all day Friday due to staffing challenges

FRASER LAKE — Residents in Fraser Lake will be without Emergency Department (ER) services at the Fraser Lake Health Centre for the entirety of Friday, April 4.

Northern Health says that ER services will be unavailable all day Friday due to staffing challenges. The health authority also notes that Fraser Lake Health Centre’s Primary Care Clinic is not affected by this service interruption, and will be open for its regular hours from 8:30 am to 5:00pm. The laboratory continues to operate as usual (Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 12:00 pm).

Individuals in the community who need life-threatening emergency care should always call 911 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility
