BC Transit announces spring service change

PRINCE GEORGE — You can expect some transit service changes in Prince George this spring.

BC Transit and the City of Prince George says the changes will commence on April 27, 2025.

Those changes include suspending some trips on Route 15 UNBC/Downtown and Route 55 Victoria due to the end of the spring semester for post-secondary students. These trips are marked in the Rider’s Guide as “U” and “N.”

In July, school special routes will be seasonally discontinued to mark the end of the school year. This includes routes 12 Parkridge, 96 Shas Ti Kelly Road via N. Nechako and 97 Shas Ti Kelly Road via John Hart Hwy.

These routes will resume service in September. BC Transit encourages its customers to use the Umo app, Google Transit or any other app of their choice for real-time bus tracking and planning your next transit journey.
