PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Public Library (PGPL) is inviting your input into its “All Hands on Deck Initiative.”

The goal of the project is to revitalize the outdoor deck at the Bob Harkins Branch of the library into a vibrant community space.

“The ‘All Hands on Deck’ initiative underscores our commitment to community-driven development,” says Prince George Public Library Director Paul Burry. “This project is not merely about enhancing the deck’s appearance; it is about addressing current safety and structural concerns and creating a functional hub that meets the needs and desires of our community. We encourage everyone to participate, either in person at our open house or through our online survey. Your feedback is valuable and appreciated.”

The open house will take place at the library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 and for those unable to attend the open house you can fill out an online survey from now until June 13. The survey is available on the library’s website.
