Man in critical condition following brutal assault on Norwood Street

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is seeking information from the public following a brutal assault Wednesday morning that left a man in critical condition.
Mounties say that just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, they received a report of an assault that had taken place in a residence on the 2100 block of Norwood Street.
“Frontline officers and other emergency services attended the scene and located an adult male victim suffering from serious injuries as a result of being assaulted. He was transported to hospital where he remains in critical condition,” says Sgt. Craig Douglass.
Douglass says the investigation is in its early stages and notes further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
