Valemount set to host world-class trail running event

If you’re a trail runner, Valemount, BC and the Alpenglow 100 will be a race to watch for future years! The Alpenglow 100 is kicking off this year for the first time and offers three race distances, incorporating two local mountains, McKirdy & Swift, topping out at over 2300 meters / almost 8000ft. The high alpine offers sightline views over Mt. Robson to the North, The Premier’s Range to the west, endless Rockies Peaks to the east, plus the Monashees and Kinbasket Lake to the south.
