PRINCE GEORGE — The Law Enforcement Torch Run is one week away, which will benefit the 2025 Special Olympics B.C. Summer Games.

“We want to give special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, RBC, for coming on board and partnering with us for this event. We can’t wait to see everyone cheering us along the route and then joining us at the community BBQ, sponsored by the Four Rivers Co-Op, states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The route for this year will start at the Prince George RCMP Detachment on Fifth Avenue and Victoria Street at 10:30 a.m. A photo=op will be taken in front of the RBC on Victoria St. and from there runners will proceed head westbound on Sixth Avenue until Winnipeg Street and then, the runners will follow Winnipeg Street as it turns into Massey Drive. Once approaching, Ospika Boulevard, runners will turn north until arriving at the CN Centre.

A BBQ by donation will be taking place at the CN Centre, around noon.
