Rustad unveils ‘Build BC’ initiative

PRINCE GEORGE — On Monday, Conservative Party of BC leader John Rustad, joined by Prince George-Valemount Rosalyn Bird and Prince George-Mackenzie MLA Kiel Giddens, unveiled the party’s Build BC Plan.

In the wake of BC Ferries deciding to have their new ships built with a Chinese shipbuilder, the BC Conservatives have launched Build BC.

Build BC is essentially a pledge to:

• Build projects in BC
• Hire BC workers & skilled trades
• Keep projects local
• Strengthen industry capacity
• Stop offshoring taxpayer-funded jobs
• Put BC families and industries first
• Empower BC businesses
