Cherished play structure to be unveiled at its new location Sunday

PRINCE GEORGE — Shell-Glen Community Park will be the place to be Sunday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. for the unveiling of a firetruck play structure.

Originally located in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, the playground that’s been loved and cherished for generations will be unveiled in its new home.

There will be a ribbon cutting with food, drinks and activities for kids.

In addition to that, there will be a free prize draw (kids firefighter prize pack), an opportunity to try a fire hose, and presentations about fire safety.

Shell-Glen Fire Rescue members will also be onsite with our apparatuses and will be happy to give you truck tours and answer any questions you may have.
