PRINCE GEORGE — Three youth were arrested following an alleged parking lot assault last week that left the female victim with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Prince George RCMP say the incident occurred near a bank on the 700-block of Central Street on Wednesday, August 6, just after 11 p.m.

Mounties say that a group of three youth had approached the victim and subsequently assaulted her. The suspects stole a bank card and money during the attack. The suspects attempted to steal the victim’s keys but fled when police arrived on scene.

With the help of witnesses, police were able to locate and arrest the youth shortly afterwards. They were held in custody for a court hearing on August 7 and later released on conditions.

“Thankfully, witnesses in the area heard the altercation and immediately reported the incident to police. Frontline officers responded quickly leading to the arrest of all three youth suspects. We would like to remind the public to be vigilant of their surroundings and the importance of reporting these types of matters to police,” says Cst. Jenna Moore, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Prince George RCMP are seeking witnesses, CCTV or anyone with dash cameras who was near the 700-block of Central Street on August 6, 2025 between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., who have not already spoken with police to call (250)561-3300.
