Lane closures on John Hart Bridge as wastewater main project nears completion
PRINCE GEORGE – For the next few days, southbound traffic crossing the John Hart Bridge may experience delays. The city is nearing the completion of a wastewater main installation, which will connect to the main line at the intersection of 5th Avenue.
Earlier this week, construction crews took over one of the southbound lanes to link a new 1300-metre wastewater main to the existing line at the intersection of 5th and Central.
The John Hart Bridge wastewater main project was initiated in 2019 following an inspection of the aging main, installed in 1977, which revealed significant signs of deterioration.
