RCMP investigating bear spray incident at Pine Centre Mall

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is seeking witnesses to an incident at Pine Centre Mall Monday night (Dec.15).

Police say at 5:42 p.m. they received a report of a male youth deploying bear spray in the mall’s food court.

Five youth were involved in the incident with witnesses telling CKPG News that mall patrons had to take cover in nearby stores.

There were no reported injuries with RCMP asking anyone with information who hasn’t already spoken with police to contact them at their non-emergency number: 250-561-3300.
