PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties have provided an update regarding Sunday night’s shooting incident at Moccasin Flats that left two people injured.
Prince George RCMP says its been working diligently on this investigation and all parties involved, including the suspect, have been identified.
Investigators believe this incident was the result of careless use of a firearm and continue to pursue the investigation as they have determined further firearms offenses that require consideration.
A report of shots fire came in at 7 p.m. on Sunday and when police arrived at a vacant lot on Lower Patricia Boulevard (Moccasin Flats), they found two people inside a trailer suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
