PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Cougars enjoyed a dominating weekend against the Penticton Vees, taking a 2-0 series lead on the road with 4-1 and 6-2 victories in games one and two. A huge reason for that success was the stellar play of forward Terik Parascak, and he has been named the WHL’s Player of the Week to recognize his efforts.

In the two games, Parascak recorded six points (4G-2A), eight shots on goal, and two points on the power play. He was also named first star in both contests.

The strong weekend highlights what has been a great playoff run for the Cougars forward, as he already has 14 points this playoff run, tying his career high for playoff production.

Parascak and the Cougars will look to stay hot on home ice, as the team hosts the Vees Tuesday and Wednesday night for games 3 and 4 of the second-round series.
