Prince George Kodiaks name new head coach
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Kodiaks Football Club has appointed Ryan Bellamy as head coach of the organization’s junior football team.
The team calls Bellamy “a long-time fixture in Prince George’s football community,” and note he’ll be on the field for the 2026 BCFC season and upcoming Spring Camp, scheduled for May 8–10, and concluding with the Black and Gold Game on Sunday.
“This organization has been through a challenging period, but the commitment from players, volunteers, and the new board has been clear,” Bellamy said. “I care deeply about football in Prince George and about giving athletes the best possible experience. I’m proud to step into this role and help move the Kodiaks forward.”
Earlier this year, former head coach Jamie Boreham was relieved of his duties under the previous board. A new board of directors was elected at the club’s annual general meeting on March 25 and has since been focused on stabilizing the organization financially while ensuring the team is prepared for the upcoming season.
