PRINCE GEORGE – Two bowlers from Prince George have returned home after representing British Columbia at the national level.
Kyra Thurston and Jacinda Trenholm took part in the national five-pin bowling championship in Winnipeg earlier this month and brought back a result they can be proud of.
The Nechako Bowling senior girls’ doubles team placed fourth in Canada after playing 21 games in only three days at the national tournament in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Southern Ontario won gold, Alberta took silver, and Newfoundland finished third. Thurston and Trenholm came back to Prince George on May 6.
