These companies were selected by the Summit’s Angel Investors following months of founder training, pitch preparation, data room development, investor review, and live pitch events.

The Top 6 will now move into the final stage of the Summit, where Angel Investors will complete deeper due diligence before selecting the company that will be awarded the $100,000 Angel Investment.

“The quality of companies in this year’s Summit has been outstanding,” says Mary Mytting, Executive Director of Northern Innovation Network. “These founders are building ventures that matter to Northern BC, whether they are based here, growing here, or developing technology that supports the industries and communities that drive our region.”

The Northern Angel Summit was created to connect growth focused founders with local investors and strengthen the investment ecosystem in Northern BC. Founders receive hands on support to become investment ready, refine their pitches, build data rooms, and engage directly with Angel Investors.

Angels receive practical experience reviewing companies, conducting due diligence, evaluating risk, and making real investment decisions.

The Summit is focused on innovation in the North and for the North. Many of the companies involved are developing solutions connected to resource industries, industrial operations, technology, productivity, sustainability, and community economic growth.

The 2026 Summit began with more than 30 companies participating in training, with Angel Investors selecting the Top 24 to enter the pitch competition.

From there, founders advanced through quarter finals and semi finals before the Top 6 were selected for the final stage. “Every company that participated in this year’s Summit has been part of building something bigger than a pitch competition,” says Mytting. “This process helps founders understand how to raise capital, helps investors learn how to evaluate opportunities, and helps the region see the innovation that is already happening here.”

The Finale is expected to be one of the most important innovation and investment networking events in Northern BC this year, bringing together founders, Angel Investors, sponsors, business leaders, industry representatives, and community champions from across the region.

New this year, the Summit Finale will also include an Innovation Showcase, giving all Top 24 companies the opportunity to present their ventures to Angels, sponsors, investors, business leaders, and members of the public.

The Showcase was added to ensure that more founders have opportunity to build visibility, make connections, and share their ideas with the broader Northern BC business community.

The Finale will include the Innovation Showcase, a networking reception, live finalist pitches, Angel deliberations, and the Big Cheque Presentation. The Northern Angel Summit Finale takes place Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre, 808 Canada Games Way, Prince George.
