RCMP investigate gunshots in Fort St James

FORT ST. JAMES — The Fort St. James RCMP is investigating a report of gunshots in the area of Highway 27 and Kenner Road.

Police received the complaint at 9:44 a.m. on June 10. Multiple reports helped narrow down the search to a home on Highway 27, which is known to police. A small grey or tan Honda Civic was believed to be seen fleeing the area.

Out of an abundance of caution, the North District Emergency Response Team was called in to support.
