PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 42-year-old woman who has been missing for nearly a month.

Police say Alissa Paige Arnold was last in contact with her family on May 27, 2026, communicating through social media, which investigators note is her primary method of staying in touch. Since that time, she has not been heard from, and her family has been unable to reach her.

Authorities say the lack of contact is out of character and has raised significant concern for her well-being.

“Alissa’s family is concerned for her well-being as she has not been in touch with them in nearly a month, and this is not characteristic of her,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media relations officer for the Prince George RCMP. “We are reaching out to the public for assistance in locating Alissa and are asking that if anyone sees her, they call the non-emergency line to report it to a police officer.”

Arnold is described as standing five feet eight inches (172 cm) tall and weighing approximately 300 pounds (136 kg). She has green eyes and short red or brown hair, which is frequently dyed different shades. Police say she has a distinctive tattoo of a hummingbird on her right calf.

Investigators also note that Arnold is known to travel frequently to the communities of Vanderhoof and Quesnel, and they are asking residents in those areas to remain vigilant.

RCMP are urging anyone who may have seen Arnold or has information about her whereabouts to contact Prince George RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.

Tips can also be provided anonymously through Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Police say any information, no matter how minor it may seem, could be important in helping locate Arnold and ensuring her safety.
