UNBC Timberwolves add highly-touted transfer guard Nevena Nogic

PRINCE GEORGE — The UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team has strengthened its roster with the addition of talented transfer guard Nevena Nogic.
The Kamloops native joins the Timberwolves after spending the past season with the UBC Okanagan Heat and will enter her second year of eligibility while pursuing a degree in Finance at UNBC. The 5-foot-11 combo guard brings an impressive resume that includes provincial honours and experience with Serbia’s U-16 and U-18 national team programs.
Timberwolves head coach Sergey Shchepotkin says the program is excited to add Nogic to its growing roster.
“We’re excited to add Nevena to our young, up-and-coming group,” said Shchepotkin. “She brings talent, experience and energy to our program. Nevena has big athletic and academic goals, and I think we can help maximize her potential in both areas.”
