Trustee Sarah Holland seeking another term on School District 57 Board
PRINCE GEORGE — School District 57 Trustee Sarah Holland has announced she will seek re-election in the Oct. 17 local government election, saying she wants to build on the experience and knowledge gained during her first term on the Board of Education.
Holland was elected in a 2023 by-election and is currently serving her first term as trustee. In announcing her candidacy Tuesday, she said public education remains a priority and she believes there is important work still to be done.
“I’m running again because I want to use what I’ve learned over this term to help the district improve learning, well-being, and opportunity for every student, and because there is work I want to continue,” Holland said.
If re-elected, Holland said her priorities would include maintaining fiscal stability within the district, continuing the review of the board’s modernized policies, and strengthening working relationships throughout the school district and wider community.
