Civic election sign period begins next week
PRINCE GEORGE – With Prince George’s civic election campaign set to ramp up, candidates will soon be able to begin placing campaign signs throughout the city as the official sign period gets underway next week.
Starting Tuesday, election signs can be installed at 14 designated locations across Prince George, marking the beginning of a key phase of the campaign leading up to election day on Oct. 17.
The city’s Bylaw Services department will be monitoring sign placement to ensure candidates comply with a detailed set of regulations governing where signs can be located and how they can be displayed.
