Radloff previously held a senior leadership position with the City of Prince George, where he gained experience in municipal planning, development, infrastructure, operations and budgeting. Since leaving the City, he has worked as an engineer and business owner, helping clients navigate local government systems.

He says that dual perspective has shown him both the challenges faced by municipal staff and the frustrations experienced by residents, businesses and developers.

“This isn’t about blaming employees or tearing down City Hall,” Radloff said. “It’s asking whether we have the best systems in place to let great people do great work and provide the services residents expect.”

Radloff is also making public safety and social disorder key issues in his campaign. He argues more supports are needed for people struggling with mental illness and addiction and says expanded involuntary treatment should be part of the solution.

He is calling on the provincial government to make a larger investment in northern British Columbia, suggesting significantly more involuntary treatment beds are needed to address addiction, homelessness and community safety concerns.

Throughout the campaign, Radloff plans to release a series of videos aimed at explaining how City Hall operates and how municipal government can work more effectively for residents.
