PRINCE GEORGE —The Prince George Spruce Kings will take to the ice this weekend as the club opens its 2026 Main Camp at Kopar Memorial Arena.

The three-day camp runs from Friday through Sunday and will give fans their first look at players competing for spots on this season’s roster. Team Red and Team White will hit the ice for practices on Friday and Saturday, before facing off in a small-area competition Saturday evening.

The camp concludes Sunday afternoon with a full exhibition game between Team Red and Team White, featuring three 20-minute stop-time periods.

All on-ice sessions are open to the public and free of charge.

Following camp, the Spruce Kings will open their pre-season schedule on Tuesday, September 8th in Port Coquitlam against the Coquitlam Express.

Prince George’s first home pre-season action comes Friday, September 11th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, September 12th at noon when the Chilliwack Chiefs visit Kopar Memorial Arena.

Pre-season tickets will cost ten dollars for adults and seniors, and five dollars for youth aged six to 18. Children five and under will be admitted free, while season ticket holders will have pre-season games included in their ticket package.
