17 candidates enter school trustee race in SD57

PRINCE GEORGE — The nomination period has officially closed for the upcoming municipal election, with 17 candidates entering the race for School District 57 trustee positions ahead of voting on October 17.

The largest contest will be in Area 1 (Prince George), where 14 candidates are seeking seats on the board. The field includes incumbents Cory Antrim, Craig Brennan, Sarah Holland, Shar McCrory and Erica McLean, along with challengers Laurie Dillman, Samantha Hermanson, David Low, Barb McNab, Lisa Mitchell, Sara Patterson, Monica Peacock, Don Sabo and Jake Skakun.

In Area 2 (Mackenzie), Tianna Klein is the lone candidate seeking election.

Meanwhile, voters in Area 3 (Robson Valley) will choose between incumbent Bob Thompson and challenger Lianne Abbott.
