Bruce Wayne says transparency, fiscal responsibility key to Prince George council run
PRINCE GEORGE — City council candidate Bruce Wayne says a desire to serve the community, combined with years of closely following local government, motivated him to put his name forward in the 2026 Prince George municipal election.
Speaking with CKPG News’ Lead News Anchor Adam Berls as part of its ongoing election coverage, Wayne said his interest in municipal politics grew after selling a small business several years ago and beginning to regularly attend city council meetings.
“I started to see some of the things that I had heard may or may not have been happening,” he said. “I was able to discern myself whether or not council was functioning well, if we were getting bang for our buck as taxpayers.”
