The most recent robbery took place on September 19 at a business on Strathcona Avenue, where a suspect allegedly used bear spray against an employee before stealing merchandise.

In each case, RCMP say multiple masked suspects entered the stores, brandished weapons and stole vape devices, cannabis products and, in some instances, cash and cell phones.

Although several victims required treatment after being exposed to bear spray, police say no serious physical injuries were reported.

Investigators have been working on the cases since the first robbery, but no arrests have been made and the suspects have not yet been identified.

RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Craig Douglass says investigators believe all four incidents are connected and are asking the public for help identifying those responsible.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300. Anonymous tips can also be provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Police continue to investigate and are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity near the targeted businesses to come forward.
