Area F candidate focuses on rural advocacy and community growth
PRINCE GEORGE — Caroline Brander Olson says her deep roots in Regional District Area F are what motivated her to seek elected office in this year’s municipal election.
The Aleza Lake resident is one of several candidates running for the Area F director position. Olson said her family has connections to the region dating back roughly 80 years, while she herself has lived in the area for more than three decades.
Olson said serving rural communities has long been a priority through her involvement with local organizations, school initiatives and community associations.
“I just want to continue supporting the area and the people that live out there,” she said.
