PRINCE GEORGE – A civic election has been underway for several weeks now and the big day – election day – is October 17th. But adding another host of candidates to the mix is seen as highly disappointing. Plus UNBC Green Week is underway through September 27th, with a series of events designed to showcase practical alternatives to getting around Prince George. And Todd Doherty, the Member of Parliament for Cariboo-Prince George announced Tuesday, that the federal electoral district which he represents has officially been renamed to Cariboo-Prince George-Omineca.
