Area D candidate Perry Slump focusing on taxes, jobs and community engagement
PRINCE GEORGE — Perry Slump says his decades of public service experience and deep roots in the Buckhorn area make him ready to represent residents of Electoral Area D (Tabor Lake-Stone Creek) on the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George board.
Slump is seeking the Area D director’s position and notes it is not his first attempt at elected office. He previously ran unsuccessfully in 2004.
A resident of the area for 35 years, Slump and his wife raised two children in the community and now have two grandchildren attending schools in School District 57.
Slump said affordability and fiscal responsibility are among his top concerns, particularly for seniors living on fixed incomes.
