Executive Flight Centre expands network with Prince George Airport operations
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Airport Authority has welcomed Executive Flight Centre as the new Fixed Base Operator at Prince George Airport, a move aimed at strengthening aviation services in northern British Columbia.
Executive Flight Centre, one of Western Canada’s largest aviation service providers, has assumed operation of the existing BID Air facility at YXS. Airport officials say current local employees will remain in place, ensuring continuity of service while benefiting from EFC’s broader provincial network and industry experience.
As the airport’s Fixed Base Operator, EFC will provide a range of aviation services including passenger and crew support, ground handling, aircraft servicing, hangar space and cargo handling. The operation will serve a diverse range of customers, including charter and regional airlines, corporate and private aviation clients, as well as government and military aircraft.
Prince George Airport Authority Director of Commercial Development Daphne Shelton says the addition of Executive Flight Centre marks an exciting new chapter for aviation services at YXS. She says the partnership will build on the strong local relationships and expertise already established within the airport community.
