Police Release Details In ‘Suspicious’ Disappearance Case

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Mounties have released more details regarding the disappearance of a missing Prince George man.

On January 1, police said fifty-four-year-old Robert Poulin was last seen on Dec. 28, 2018 at around 11 p.m. in Prince George driving his black F150 in the Hart area with his black poodle.

Today (Jan.11) police said they are continuing to investigate the case and added the Prince George RCMP and Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a report of a residential fire at 4416 Greenwood Street on Dec.28.

“While responding to this fire, police located a 2004 black Ford F150 pickup truck,” said Cpl. Carmen Kiener. “This truck was determined to be related to the residence.”

She said the owner of the home and the truck, Robert Poulin, have not been located and now considers his disappearance “suspicious”.

Kiener said police are interested in speaking with anyone who may have information about Poulin’s truck on the days leading up to Dec.28. She said they are also seeking witnesses or vehicle dash camera footage that was obtained on the following dates:

• Dec.27, 2018 from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Chetwynd and Fort St. John. During this time police know that the truck had a white canopy on the back.
• Dec.28, 2018 from midnight to 9 p.m. between Fort St. John and Prince George. During this time the vehicle no longer had the canopy.
