Homicide Investigation Underway in Quesnel

QUESNEL — Mounties in Quesnel have launched a homicide investigation.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says it stems from an incident that occurred last Thursday (Nov.8) when a man was taken to GR Baker Hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

“The investigation led police to a residence in the 400 block of Willis Street where a search warrant was executed.”

Saunderson says police believe the incident to be targeted and have no information to suggest that the public is at further risk.
