Suspicious Substance Identified After Being Seized Last Fall

PRINCE GEORGE — Local RCMP have identified a suspicious substance seized last fall on October 24, 2017, from a Canada Post facility on 15th Avenue to be a food product. More specifically, it was a sugar substitute that was not harmful to anyone that had made contact with it. The investigation has been concluded with a reminder to anyone using mail or courier services to ensure your items are approved for transportation and packaged appropriately.
