Health Minister to Make Announcement This Morning

Health minister Adrian Dix is making an annnouncement this morning on health care supports for northern residents as part of the BC surgical strategy. 

Dix will be a the University Hospital this morning at 11 am. 

His announcement comes in the wake of a recent outcry from the Northern Medical Society.  

Dr. Bill Simpson says the issue is going beyond just frustration, but to worry about the safety of patients.

Northern Health sent the concept plan for a surgical tower expansion to government last December and says it is ready to begin at any time.
