Gift A Getaway Winner Announced

PRINCE GEORGE- Every year CKPG gives away a grand prize to someone deserving in the community. This year’s Gift A Getaway winner says he wants to spend more time with his son after being diagnosed with cancer. The prize pack includes a $1000 travel voucher donated by Uniglobe Sunburst Travel and a handful of prizes from other local businesses. Eric Friesen’s friend Katelynn nominated him, as she says he only has a short time left to travel with his 10-year-old son. Friesen says he and his son recently returned from a trip to California… but they enjoy snowboarding so they’ll probably visit Whistler next.
