Put On Your Dancing Shoes: Kinky Boots Coming To Town

PRINCE GEORGE- Tony Award-winning musical, Kinky Boots, will make its way to the city next March. Something that was announced with much fanfare at the CN Centre today as Manager, Glen Mikkelsen, revealed the surprise in knee-high red stiletto boots. “We’re just trying to get people charged up that Kinky Boots is coming to Prince George, not a lot of people know about it, it’s not as popular as the Lion King or Mamma Mia, but it is a really wonderful show,” said Mikkelsen. The Broadway production is based on true events and has music written by Cyndi Lauper. It’s described as a heart-warming show about friendship and diversity. The show comes to the CN Centre on March 22nd. “It’s fun! People will have a great evening at this show, they’ll be up and dancing at the final number and I really encourage people to check it out.”
