Brownridge Passes Away

PRINCE GEORGE – A prominent member of the Prince George business community has passed away. According to friends, Brian Brownridge passed away suddenly Thursday night in Penticton.  

He was born in Edmonton but raised in Prince George.  After graduating from the University of Alberta, he worked in the lumber business and then real estate development. 

After serving as an alderman in Prince George, he founded Brownridge & Company Insurance in 1990. But he may be best known for his work in the community and including his support for the Prince George Community Foundation, Kordyban Cancer Lodge, and UNBC. 

Brian Brownridge was 68.
