Fawn Sighting At UNBC
Jul 6, 2018 | 11:33 AM
PRINCE GEORGE- Yesterday, staff and students at UNBC got a lucky glimpse of a pair of newborn fawns. Early in the morning a mother deer moseyed onto campus and found a safe spot in the Wabooz Garden. There, she gave birth to two babies. UNBC urged people on campus to steer clear of the garden, to give the young ones some space. Some spectacular photos were taken through a nearby window. Mama and her babies made their way back into the forest today. UNBC says this is the second year in a row that mother deer have had fawns on campus.
